I thought it was really odd the dog would go in after rocks thrown in the water.
Never bring back the same rock that was thrown in mind.
Just any old rock after a root around in the stream.

Friends had a large lab a few years back. They could throw a rock in the water..a large rock...and the dog would submerge itself and come back with the same rock every time. My dog is so smart she won't go after rocks...only sticks.
