    New Gallery Categories

I just added two new categories to the gallery:

    Night Photos
    Outdoor Photography

The Night Photos gallery is so we have a better place for fireworks photos, astrophotography, and walterick's star trail stuff

And the Outdoor gallery is because I keep feeling like there isn't really a good fit for most of my mountain bike and hiking photos. They aren't necessarily landscapes and I don't know if I really consider most of them action, either. So now there's a general place where we can post hiking, fishing, and landscape photos that don't quite fit anywhere else.

    Re: New Gallery Categories

Thankyou, John. One of these days I'll figure out how to add photos to galleries by category.

I added one to the Outdoor category.

I noticed something, I went to select the camera that I used, and there is no Nikon D200 on the list! I know ya'll are Canon guys, but geez, how about a little love to the Nikonians?

We aren't Canon guys! And the D200 is listed. I just checked via the gallery search and created this Nikon D200 gallery. If it's listed in the gallery search, it's in the upload dropdown too. You may just have to scroll down a little farther than you expect. But I promise it's there.

    Re: New Gallery Categories

Good to see the new categories. I hope more people will not only post to the gallery but look at the photos there and make comments on them. There are some amazing images that make the gallery that are not seen by nearly enough of our faithful forum participants.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??
