    Body art---Tattoos
At this stage in my life I don't know that I'm pro tattoos (for myself) but I don't disapprove---it's all in personal taste.

So please share a pic and maybe a story of your skin creation if you have any.:)

Sorry the one I posted is as good as it gets...hard to take a shot of your shoulder even with the self timer...

a sleeping fairy or as some at church would call it ---the naked woman on my shoulder :D

    More skin!
Nat, what's this posting a tat shot without showing all the skin around it? That's what makes them sexy! (but you still can't be #1 :p )

    yes I know
but I thought of how Larry might feel and opted for that instead===reposting wouldn't show you much more but since it is skin art...I re[posted the surrounding area at least ;)

    None for me thanks
Not that I'm anti-tattoo, but needles make me woozy. I've actually hit the floor a few times, so I don't want to chance it.

Can I do a temp. one? Does that count? It's Hello Kitty....

Perfect timing Nat! I came in to work this morning and one of my wise-ass friends had taped ads for a tattoo parlor and the local "Tattoo Expo and Bike Rally" to my monitor. She hates tattoos and thinks they're "stupid" and that I'm stupid for loving them. (I have two and want more!) She also thinks I curse too much (I do) and has decided that I should be a trucker when I grow up. I love my friends. :D

    love hate
I've always had a love hate relationship with them--lol

I like the fairy I have (I created her) but I get sick of people's comments....and it was difficult for me when I got married because I didn't exactly look like the most conventional bride from the back... the dres I chose almost showcased the tattoo and several guests and people thought it would be "cool" to take pics of the bride and my tatt and send them to me so I ended up with a bunch of biker chick bride pics from my wedding ugh---whatever!---they meant well.

even with a tripod it wasn't easy---i finally propped it on my computer armoire and self timed it.... who thought of this dumb posting anyway!?  :D

    Hmmm... I've got a pic...
I've got a photo of them from Colorado, but it didn't come out well. :(
I only took one shot with the Holga and the composition is not what I wanted it to be.

    I'll search the archives though!

Well, if we were to showcase ALL of John's body art, we'd need to create a new forum... :D

As for mine, it's not finished, so it is not for anyone's eyes but mine yet...

I am about two hours from Louisville. Not a bad drive up I 64. Last Saturday I spent the whole day moving my son and his wife to Louisville. She is a graduate assistant at Uof L and he is an architech working in Frankfort, KY. Louisville is nice city as cities go. Of course my little town of 3000 is more to my liking. If you come let me know my wife and I will have a built in place to stay with the son there and Louisville came be a fun place to shoot some pictures. Here is a picture from this weekends move. This son doesn't have any ink but my other son and his wife have multiples, but alas no images of them. The old coot is me and the young guy in the middle is my son the guy in red is his former college roomate and good friend.

Everyone has to have some feature
Everyone has to have some feature that is noteworthy. Age robbed me of most of mine, but the eyes stayed blue as the body exploded and the hair disappeared.

*smile* This is a great topic... I have a tattoo, but it's on my back and difficult to shoot... my boyfriend, Kev and I went and got tattoos... and no... we didn't get each other's names, or anything even remotely related, but I must thank Kev for funding my tattoo endeavor. When I see him later tonight, I'll have him picture it for me, so I can post it. Mine is just simple, I had the tattoo guy design it for me...
I could of course tell funnie stories about Kev's tattoo experience *mischievous smiles*, but I know he reads this site from time to time...
