Any good books on photographing babies/kids?

    Hello All,

My wife is about 4 months pregnant. We're pretty excited about it since it's our first. I'm really interested in finding some good books (or other resources-websites, etc.) on photographing babies/kids. I'm not too great at portraits, but the way I figure, this is a great way to practice! If anyone out there has any recommendations, I'd love to hear about them.

    Thanks,

    David

    Hey David,

I have "Photographing Children And Babies: How To Take Great Pictures" by Michal Heron, and it is an excellent book. I highly recommend it.

check out www.ilovephotography.com Lots of info.

Thing is, with kids, it's hard to get what you need from a book. Every kid is different. What I'd suggest is spending an evening at Barnes and Noble or Borders, and just go thru a couple of the books they have there. You'll get an idea of what you like, and they have lots of useful tips.

    Hi Guys,

Thanks for the info. After looking around at the bookstore, I did see the book that Speed mentioned before I posted, and I really liked it. Now that it's been recommended, I'll go pick it up. I also checked out the ILP website, and I've bookmarked it.

    Thanks!

    David
