    Another Banning sunset...

But unfortunately this one came at the expense of much calamity.

I'm sure some of you have heard of the large fire that is burning just south of Banning in the San Jacinto mountains. In fact, flames came as close as 1 mile to our town. Quite a few homes and structures have been lost in the mountain communities, but more important than these were the loss of four firefighters with one more seriously injured and not expected to live. Investigators are certain arson is to blame, which not only has the firefighters extremely upset but our community as well. Please keep their families in your prayers, as well as those who are still on the front line battling the blaze.

Who says that sunsets all need to be horizontal? Beautiful job of defining the conventional rules. I'm just glad it's not another image of fire and smoke from your area. The images on the tube have been horrible out of SoCal this week.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

Wow, gorgeous picture. Scary about the fire, though!
