Thanks Speed!! I had heard about this coming up, but wasn't sure when it was. I was going to start a thread about it, but you beat me to it. Thanks Buddy!

    I hear ya Roger!

The week the Perseids were peaking (and the week after) we had lousy weather. Cloudy most nights, or the humidity was so high you could only see the brightest stars. I got ONE night of nice weather.

Hopefully we'll all have good weather next Tuesday!

I'm taking off next Monday and Tuesday. It is normally a week off for the wife and myself, but she just started a new job of couple of months ago, so she doesn't have any leave built up yet. I'm taking off to relax and recharge my batteries.

    Hope you have clear skies!

    Hey Buddy,

Thanks for the heads-up. I tried to get some shots of the perseids but the night I went to work with my photo equipment and all psyched about gettins some shots turned out to be overcast. Maybe I'll get luckier with the eclipse.

You're welcome my friend! I had the same problems with the Perseids - weather. The last lunar eclipse I had overcast skies as well. Lord willing, we'll have clear skies for the eclipse.

I've got my request for good weather in to the Big Guy also! Looks like I'll have a longer view than you if it works out.

Yep. The last eclipse was prime for the east coast. Too bad most of the east coast was socked in with clouds!

This one definitely favors the west coast. Hope you have clear skies and get some great shots.

The next one is suppose to be great for all of North America.

Tonight's the night for the lunar eclipse. Well, early tomorrow morning anyway. I'm going to set my alarm and TRY to force myself out of bed. Wish me luck!
