Christmas lights started going up

First Christmas lights on my street went up yesterday. It's been really gray, overcast, rainy, and foggy so I -still- haven't had a good chance to go out with the D300 yet. I looked out the window and liked how the light was playing off the water on the roof so I pulled out my tripod and took a quick shot. There was a lamp post juuuuuust to the right so I decided to pull in tight to where I liked the light. I'm waiting for this one house on the street next to mine to put up their lights. Every year they really go all out and it looks really nice.

I'm surprised I haven't seen any here yet but then I don't go out at night much either.
