That third photo is great, caught the action nicely.
The other two I feel are lacking a subject, I don't think these rather tame looking waves are enough to make the image on their own.

The lack of scale on the first two images keeps them from standing out. Are the waves two feet high or ten feet high? The third image has the kayaker in it, so we can see how high the waves are. It also gives a focal point to the image. While the waves are the subject in the first two images, there's nothing to hold your attention. The third image has an attention grabbing element to it. Nice shot on the third one. Your timing was right on.

Although I appreciate the comments of the previous posters, I still like your second pic. Living in land-locked Oklahoma, I can appreciate the wave for the wave's sake!

Same. I like #2 for a wave's sake. I'm in land locked Spokane and haven't seen proper surf in months.

Yea, the first two might not be great photographs from a photography standpoint, but i took them from a skimboarders standpoint who was riding those waves once I was done taking pictures. I just liked the waves for the waves sake, like Shebang and Mr Yuck said. I liked the form of them.

Thanks though, for all the comments. I do appreciate when other's critique my shots... it makes me a better photographer. Soooo, next time I take wave shots I'll try and add a little spice to them somehow ;)
