    32,254 Clicks. A brief Tribute to a Semi-Retired camera.

Canon Powershot A510 is finally being given a much earned rest with my acquisition of a Powershot A570 IS.

Ever since the Canon A40, I've been a fan of the Canon Powershot A Series. The A510 has a full range of manual controls, yet fits in my back pockets and takes excellent quality photos. I even printed a 11"x14" shot from it and it looked great.

But the 3.2 megapixels just wasnt enough for cropping power and big prints, so last week, I ordered the upgrade and it finally came today, the upgrade also has a faster image processor and image stabilization.

Is that "Taps" I hear playing in the background?

nah, more like "Jolly Good Fellow"

    It aint dead yet

It's still got the wide angle lens adaptor and telephoto adaptor that the A570 doesnt have *yet. (ordering an adaptor as soon as I know the address of where I'll be living next week) ;)

great tribute. Some great shots that I have never seen you post, and they are pretty remarkable.
