    Can music help language retention?

Can listening to music in a foreign language aid in retaining vocabulary and understanding pronunciation better?

Music can reinforce pronunciation, rhythm, and vocabulary, especially when lyrics are catchy or repetitive. Singing along or analyzing lyrics adds an extra layer of practice. It’s not a full method on its own, but it can definitely support learning.

Absolutely! Listening to music in your target language helps reinforce pronunciation, rhythm, and natural sentence structures. I remember learning new phrases just by singing along with lyrics and later realizing I understood their meaning. It makes the whole process more fun and less formal. I even built playlists with slow songs to catch the lyrics more easily. On top of that, using promova english helped me solidify what I picked up from music through more structured lessons. The combination really strengthened my listening and memory skills.
