I especially like that your ideas and suggestions are not "formulaic". I think there's way too much of that already, and flat-out copying of someone else's lighting setups probably isn't the best way to learn. Much better that you get people to start being creative, and (as you always say) play and have fun.

In this age of digital capture, I don't think there has ever been a better time to just "experiment the hell" out of a scene, and quickly try different things to immediately see their effect on a shot and a subject.
