New camera question

I just picked up a D70. Will I need a Safe sync adapter to work safely with a pair of Photogenic 1250 Monolights? I have the Nikon AS15 hot shoe to PC terminal adapter on backorder, do I need the Wein unit?

The photogenics are at 3 to 4 volts. That's ok as long as they don't go over 6 volts. To be on the safe side you can go with the Wein or try wireless triggers too.
