Unhappy help please im new to this!

    hi there,
we are currently doing a bit of amateur camera work and are using a top of the range sharp view cam to try and video an interview at home. We want to make sure that the lighting is correct for the camera to shoot nice and clear footage but were not sure what type of lighting to use if any at all. We dont want to capture the dullness of british weather in our shoot

also i heard something about soft lighting because we will be doing facial closeups and did not want to show too much detail of facial blemishes etc.
    please help us guys!!

Have you got any lighting equipment as of yet? Does the camera have have a mic input. Is this interview for home use, or will you need it for other purposes.? Do you have some type of local video or camera rental house that has lighting available? Will the shot be a full length, waist up, or a typical close-up of the head and shoulders? What time of day will this be taped? If during daylight, is there a large window that can be used as a main light source?

Let me know and we'll see if we can help you out.
