    Elinchrom 600RX kit

Hi, I have been away from portraits for about 22 years and have decided to get back and just do some work on the side of my regular job and take family and friends and to maybe later supliment my retirement a bit. I have ordered a Elinchrom 600rx kit. Can anyone tell me if I am making a good choice and what additional strobes I may need. I want to look into and learn about chromakey also.
    Thanks for any help,

    A fellow ham!

I'm sure you'll find those to be sufficient flashes for portraits! The best thing, IMO, to determine whether or not you'll need more strobes is to shoot with what you have and discover areas you want more. With those two lights and a reflector you can have a good setup though. Unless you're shooting video, chromakey green/blue is definitely not a requirement to alter the background.
