I've said it once, I'll say it again

I HATE volleyball. Not only is the lighting in the gym horrible, I feel like every volleyball shot you get is only one of 4 different types of shots. So boring. Yes, i know the WB is horribly off. I didn't custom WB, I just shot custom K temp, which was obviously wrong. oh well, they'll be printed B&W anyways. oh and I made up my mind. I'm buying a strobe within the next two weeks. wish me luck on figuring out how to use it. haha.

don't exactly know why I like this shot so much, but I do. It's all in the eyes I guess.

I like the photos and I will agree with you on indoor lighting. Do many places look down on flashes?

I'm loving the last shot. Wow, her face says it all.

Can I ask the stupid question of the day? Are pics that are done with a custom wb a lot better then if you use awb? Custom wb is still something I haven't done.

OK. Not just one stupid question. lol Do you use a grey card and if you are outside and night is falling how often do you have to redo your custom wb?
    It's not blurry. It's bokeh.
