Saturday's soccer - CYSA North Founder's Cup

I finally got a chance to try out my new lens & TC. I've gotten about 2000 shots on it from yesterday and from what I can see I'll be keeping the lens

I shot parts of about 13 games or so, in really cold (for CA!) weather. It was around 45-50ish, cloudy, then partly cloudy, and a nice cold icy wind the entire time. Due to the clouds coming & going, I got to know my ISO button really well on my cameras. I spent a lot of time in the 400+ ISO range. I started the day off shooting at 1250 or so.

Main camera was a Nikon D2h w/300 F2.8 & 1.4 TC, second camera was another D2h with 70-200 F2.8 VR & 1/4 TC

1. Got a little air on this one. Of course, I always have backs to me when people are in the air.

5. I wish I could see the expression on the other guy's face. The whole sequence has the hand blocking the face.

Hey, I'll take 45-50 and DRY right now! We had two days of snow, one with Ice Fog and now the next 5 or 6 days will be RAIN! The only advantage is I know my well won't run dry.

Anyway, back on subject.... lol, don't you know they will always turn their backs on you Nice timing on these though, too bad the one guy has a hand in his face... better than a ball for a head though Yeah, I'd say you can keep your new toys, they did very well....you too
