    Softball

Here is one from a girls softball league 12 year olds. I like the dirt and intense expression on her face. For shooting through a wire screen backstop I wasn't that displeased. What do yo think? D70 and 80-200mm f2.8D at 1/125 and f8.

    OT,

Great positioning. Shooting through the fence is a common thing, just make sure you press the lens hood up against the fence to get it as much out of focus as possible.

Open the lens up to 2.8, that background is too distracting. F/8 is way too deep a DOF for this sort of thing.

How to tell the most experienced shooter in a group? They have the least amount of toys on them.

I totally agree about the depth, this was the first image of the evening I snapped it off as soon as I got there with out checking the aperature. I was shooting in A mode and had it on f8 for some other shoots. I cranked it up a few shots latter. This one is of the winning pitcher, my niece, she pitched a complete game (10-0) victory with no walks.
