    Smile :)

    OK....so I lied.....lol
Anyway I FINALLY got a chance to shoot something after a month off , well I did have a shoot last week for a Sr Living section but, well, we won't go there but Wednesday the paper calls to have me shoot not 1 but two games, one softball and one baseball at the same school, in the rain of course The first thing both head coaches asked when they saw me was "got rain proof camera?". For seven years it's been the same old story, wet and cold on opening day of the baseball, and I always get the assignment for that school. At least it wasn't 32 degrees with 30mph winds.Anyway here here are three from opening day for the boys and game #4 for the girls. Both teams had huge leads when I left, 6-0 for the girls and 14-0 for the boys

I think you'll see why I called the thread "Smile"

Haven't been able to use them yet....the gymnastics team got tossed, not sure if they will return next year, wrestlings over and I didn't take the 400 yesterday. These were the 70-200. All my indoor stuff is done for the year, and I probably won't take the 200 to any races.

I'm so glad to see spring here. Maybe I'll be able to get some more sports shots. I decided to let the basketball season go on without me. Two terrible teams and the lighting worse this year than last. First home baseball is next week. I'm praying for a little sunshine.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

Well I just got todays paper and I find it interesting they ran 4 photos, three of which are similar to the those below. Odd, more writers (3) less writing and more and larger photos than last year. I wonder if the writers are being paid more or less for doing less......(I didn't say that )
