Someone's listed one of the old Canon 300mm f/2.8L lenses in the classifieds. That's may be the best lens I've ever used (rental). It's a monster, but the AF speed and optical quality R_U_L_E!

Great lens ! I lucked out a couple years back and bought one of these brand new as a close out from Canoga Camera for $2399. That was a lot for me to spend on a lens but I've never regreted it.
