    HS baseball part 2

Well today I rented a lens to see what it is like to shoot with the big dog, I rented the 400mm 2.8 . Man I love this lens too bad it cost too much. A local shop rents them for 40 bucks a day.i found it was tooooooo big for some shots and the umpires refused to let me on the inside of the fence. so once again these are all shot through the fence. I have new respect for sports photogs. this stuff is not easy

That 400 f2.8 is a real sports photog lens for use. Not the easies to handle if your not use to it. Did you have it on a mono-pod? Once again it looks like you handles the fence issue pretty well.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

Oh, I'd love to rent the 400 f2.8 for some of my shoots. I'm shooting some college baseball & my 70-200 w/1.4 TC is a little on the shot end.

I'd say 3 & 4 are the best of the bunch.

Mono pod? I dont need a sticking mono pod. . its only weights what 30 pounds.lol Yead i did have a mono pod but wasnt strong enough. I kept on collapsing on me, that the ground was a little wet and was sinking .lol
I will be renting this best more, too bad I dont have a full frame camera. with the crop factor I was at about 650mm lol
