More B&W Skateboarding and one Color

I welcome any feedback, especially on the B&W conversion and the lighting.

I love the lighting on the colour one.
The B&W is good, but I think it's a bit too dark, is there any shadow detail in there?
It's hard to tell against the glowing white screen, it really needs to be on a dark background.

I made it that dark intentionally. I was going for a low-key effect. I started out with one I posted here a while back that was more of an accident and decided to try again. I used Nik's Silver Efex Pro this time.

I like the dark effect myself. I am somehow bothered by the specs on the right and left. I would have preferred black uniformity. MHO

Yeah, it looks better on black, and will do printed, too.
I agree with the light specks in the background, I think.
If they were removed I think it may be too much totally negative space.
Not sure though.
