All I want for my birthday...

is a field pass to the Seahawks/Rams game at the Edward Jones Dome. I'm going to be at the game on my birthday (12/14), but it looks as if I'm going to have to settle for shooting from the stands. I know that field passes for NFL games are nearly impossible to get, but if anybody reading this has the right connections and can make this happen, I'd be eternally grateful for the opportunity to photograph my favorite team (the Rams) from the sidelines.

I'm hoping that since both teams have long since been out of the playoff race, there might be less of a demand for field passes at this game than usual, making the possibility of my wish coming true a little more possible.

I've photographed quite a few high school and college football games from the sidelines, which I've thoroughly enjoyed, but just once I'd love to know what it's like to be on the sidelines of an NFL game (especially the Rams) getting the opportunity to photograph the likes of Torry Holt, Steven Jackson, Orlando Pace, Marc Bulger, Chris Long and Leonard Little.

I know it's a huge longshot for this to work, but if it does, I'll be sure to let everybody here know and I'll certainly post my favorite shots from the game on this thread. So how about it? Anybody here know somebody who knows somebody who can make this a birthday to remember for me?

good luck with that, it's easier to get away with murder than to get field passes. When I shot TV I only was on the floor once, last season they weren't going to allow local stations to film from the floor, I don't know what is happening this season but I would figure it is nearly impossible to get credentials even for a still photographer. It's also a little late you needed to ask before the season started, my best advise for you is to call there PR department and say you are freelance.

Thanks for the advice. I know that it's a huge longshot for me to get my birthday wish, but what do I have to lose by giving it a shot? Worst case scenario is that nothing comes of this and I get to photograph my favorite NFL team from the stands. Either way, I'll post some of my pics here.
