However, if it is theme-related and subject to individual interpretation, I would say "yes".

So my vote is no-yes :)

    As if a vote by a nature-guy counts :p

LOL.... even PaulNJ's vote would count....... but I think a bird would bomb him if he shot anything BUT nature :p

Yes, in my youth I played, so did my father, and one of his brothers.

So that it wasn't biased towards particular sports.

Look at the Architecture project - we sneaked some racetracks into their project :)

In fact, can't we try to get sports into the monthly project?
Just our interpretation of the monthly theme.

That wasn't interetation though Paul, it IS architecture, just as any other manmade building or even stadium so I don't think we snuck anything past them.

It does seem though the majority of favorable votes has felt the theme is the way to go. I still see a problem with the numbers, 187+ viewers of the thread and 19 votes for, thats seems to be a large number that hadn't voted. Granted we have lots of "lurkers" who don't post but I doubt the gap is that large.

One of my hopes was to pull in some of those lurkers.

I wouldn't worry so much about those numbers. Look at a lot of very popular threads and you will see disappropriate number of posters to viewers. It is just the nature of the forum.

Maybe it could be seasons of the year. (Fall sports, Winter sports, Spring sports and Summer sports). Just a thought.
