    Surfing Portfolio

Well I'm trying to put together a portfolio that captures both surfing action and the lifestyle. I would like comments from all those who look even if you have no idea what's going on. hahaha. Just let me know about the images and how they flow!

    Thanks!

    Re: Surfing Portfolio

    Great stuff here.

    #1. Interesting perspective.

#2. The face of the guy needs to be lighter. The shadow falling across it makes it difficult to see his expression, which would have a much greater impact on the image.

#3. Great action shot, but it needs a tighter crop. The people in the background are kinda distracting.

#4. Another great action shot, but I think it would be more effective if you cropped it a little tigher as well.

    #5. Beautiful landscape.

#6. I'm kinda torn on this one. My gut says to recrop it, but there is something about this image as it is. Also, the sky in this one is a little bleh, but that could just be from the mid-day lighting.

#7. I love this. This is a good example of an action landscape shot.

#8. This shot just flows wrong. When people look at pictures, they tend to start in the upper left and work diagonally towards the lower right. Try flipping the image horizontally in photoshop.

#9. Another shot that could use a tighter crop.

#10. Love the Buddha. Good framing by keeping him off-center.

Great work, but a few images could be recropped.

I like #1 a lot. the frame complements the contrast of the photo very well.

Really? Hmmm. Interesting. My eye flows from the guy on the board in the lower left corner to the guy coming down the wave in the upper right corner. I'll have to try the horizontal flip.

Thanks for the input. I am glad that only a little work in PS needs to be done. Cropping and shodwo/highlights is not that hard to do.
