    Vintage raceing scenic

Here is a different take on my walk around the circuit at pacific raceways. The event is a big fund raiser for Seattle Children's Hospital.
More of the normal race shots to follow.
I hope you enjoy these, C&C welcome

Great series, Jimmy. After seeing the usual assortment of racing shots, I like to get a different perspective. The scenery is a nice touch.

How I love where we live.

These are totally different from all the other racing shots I've seen here. The first one is my fave. Love it.
    It's not blurry. It's bokeh.

Nice stuff Jimmy. I really like the last one with the yellow car frozen and then 3 cars ahead each with increasing amounts of blur. Sweet.

Ouch! that hurts I remember scenes like these in a couple episodes of Wide World of Sports....back the 60's. There are also some old racing films I have seen from the 50's that remind me of these, only in B&W....the color looks much better!

Sorry, dont mean to bring up sore points....Being a child of the 70's basically means that motor racing involved crash barriers (well kinda)

Yeah yeah, sure....lol Thats OK Hoffy, I was told I was going to sprint car races before I was born, and back then helmets and roll bars were not required, and most of the tracks in the country were dirt. At least I know where the racing bug came from, and who to blame it on
