    Alonso !

I'm not convinced about this, largely because of the spectator applauding in the bottom left which tends to dominate the photo.

Taken from grandstand A, Circuit de Catalunya.
Camera make: Konica Minolta Camera, Inc.
    Camera version: DiMAGE A2 Ver.1.00
    Exposure time: 1/500 (0.00200)
    F-stop: 11.0
    ISO speed: 64
    Focal length: 50.6914

    Nice, but...

I agree about the spectator's hands. Too bad. I like the spectators, in general. But the hands are just too distracting. I also think the exposure is about half a stop too dark. I like the pan, though. I think it's perfect amount of blur - at least if you want to include the spectators.

Have you posted anything in the new gallery, yet? I don't think there are any Konica Minolta A2 samples, yet. Why don't you post a few in the Sports and Action gallery?

Image is underexposed; this is cleary a very sunny day when I look at the shadows.

It's a good shot, although I don't prefer the car in the center in this particular photograph.
Sorry about the hand, I guess you have to be a bit lucky sometimes.

    Thanks for sharing.

Well, the grandstands in Circuit de Catalunya are very far from the track, a shot like yours is pretty much all you can get. When you've got access, it is a nice track to shoot...

Here's my two favourite Alonso shots..

I haven't had success posting to the new galleries.
I tried two to the "street" project and neither picture was uploaded

I've just been made redundant, so might have more time to work on the photos

    Don't rub it in
I'd love to have access just for one testing session (not a race, they don't give those to amateurs!) to get photos like that

Exposure was set for Toyota (white) and McLaren which were reflecting a lot more light.
Just tweaking the curves could bring that up to an acceptable level.

Where would you prefer the car?
I've got lots more empty track in the original image over to the right

Hey, just ask for accreditation to a testing session, that's what I've done..
