    Talk about timing. This is the best! That is sooooo sweet. I like the toned black and white treatment, too. Goes well with the subject. And I think color might have been a distraction here. It's all about the action.

    That cowboy had the adrenaline pumping. Very nice shoot, you got the calf at peck height. I agree with PJ that the elimination of color adds to the drama and helps eliminate distraction in the image. Thanks for posting, another great example of other sports that there are out there to shoot.

    Thanks fellers, yeah I quite like the toned effect for some action shots. Must admit I sometimes get a bit carried away with it. Usually someone around to bring one back to earth.

    I think you overdid the toning. Looks like the cheesy sepia effect that some digicams have...
