What lens work with Sony A100

Hi guys. I'm new here and new to the hobby. I have a Sony A100 DSLR. My question is what all types of lens work with the A100? Do I only buy digtal type lens or can a lens off of a 35mm flilm camera work on the body? The only thing I was told at wolf camera was it only had to be a sony or minolta lens.

Either lens will work. As long as it is A-mount. The older "film" lenses are easier to get, and cost less, although, they are secondhand.

As long as it is an "A" Lens is that just for the digtal lens? and then any Konica Minolta will work? I read on the here that it had to be Konica Minolta Maxxum mount lenses. Are all minolta lens maxxum or how would I know that the 35mm lens is a maxxum lens? Thax for the help by the way.

A-mount and "Maxxum" mount are one in the same and will work with your a100. That basically means any (except for the Vectis lenses) AF (Auto-focus) lens made by Minolta, Konica-Minolta, and Sony will work with your a100. Not to mention all of the lenses for the "A" / "Maxxum" mount made by Tamron, Sigma, Tokina, etc, etc, etc...
