Sorry I wasn't clear - those were two completely different thoughts. I guess that's what they have paragraphs for.

The last part was just about using an EVF (vs. OVF) in low light. Scenes that would be near-black in an OVF can easily be seen with the EVF (or LCD) if you cheat. - Terry
