Great find OldClicker. I'm very happy Sony is planning on putting video in there dslr's. They are of course one of the world leaders in video.

Cool... I'm really looking forward to this next generation of cameras... Honestly, I don't see myself using the video a whole lot, but... It'll be a nice option to have... Mostly I expect to enjoy some of the other technological improvements that will go along with it, including some higher FPS options for sports, focusing system improvements, etc...

You can't really make any judgments on video quality from that sample, but it works as a nice teaser of things to come. A lot of out-of-focus going into focus clips there. Wondering if they were trying to hint at some more active focusing going on? Anyway, not going to think about it too much.. Too early to worry about it.... Just glad to see things still moving forward behind the scenes...

This was part of Sony's big announcement at PMA - the new compact Alpha and new sensors for Alpha DSLRs that will have video capability. I'm working on a PMA report now. Got photos, video and an article on this subject...
