    Sony DSC-W50 flash problem?

Sometimes, the pictures that I take come out either overly dark or overly bright. It makes me really angry sometimes. Does anyone know what's wrong with my camera? Can I fix it or do I have to buy a new one?

Interesting. I've seen issues like this before, but not that severe. Between the first two, how long apart did you take the picture? Maybe the flash didn't have enough time to get back to full power. Also sometimes bright reflections can fool the camera into thinking the object is much brighter than it really is (thus ending up with an underexposed image).

As for the third shot, it looks like auto iso took it up to iso 320 (the first two were iso 80) but it used the same exposure values as the first two. Why it would do this and totally blow out the picture I'm not sure.

The pictures were taken about 2 minutes apart.
