do you think they'll offer minolta hot shoe support too?

sony has a hot shoe themselves, i cant imagine theyd change but at the same time they want to "support minolta users", yes the lens is the big part but flashes are important too. will i have to get a new one when i upgrade ?

I don't think it would make sense to have a camera that takes Minolta lenses but not Minolta flashes, but then again when has Sony ever made sense?

Yes, the "Alpha" DSLR will have the Minolta flash mount.
