Sony Alpha Battery

Does anyone have the extended life battery ? How much more run time are you getting out of it over the stock battery ? (BP-55 High Capacity Battery) Specs : This battery has 850MAH versus Sony's 680MAH


On a side note , did anyone opt for the extended warranty , B&H has what seems to be a good deal on the 5 yr warranty for $69.95

i havent seen the battery. i did buy the warranty, but i got it from sony style because they cover physical damage and they either give you a new one or give you your money back... and they cover the lense

Just curious how long is their warranty and what did it cost ? Did you buy the Camera from them also ?

i paid 89.99 for 2yrs but i know that it is based on how much the camera is and now if u go to the actual stores you can still get the warranty even though you did not get it from them... if you paid full retail 799 for the a100k the warranty is 89.99 for 2 yrs, 109.99 for 3yrs, and 139.99 for 4 yrs

I found it on the web site (Sonystyle.com) they had a listing . 3 year with accidental was $89.99 I thought that was a great deal . Thanks

no they only cover what came with the camera... so if you got the alpha 100h then the $500 lense would be covered...
