    Shutter Remote for A200

    do they make a wireless shutter realease remote for the sony a200?

    Adorama also has a couple of different models. I've been toying with the idea of getting one, but haven't pulled the trigger.

    hmm alright thanks guys!

    the nikons and canons remotes dont have to attach that thing for the remote.

    they have infored.!@

    well mine had info red for flash, so i thought there would be a remote for mine aswell :mad2:

    Infrared has to be line of site, fairly close and generally from in front of the camera. Radio seems much better. - TF

    The way it works is very simple: wire 2 pins together (or with a piece of metal touch both pins) and it will focus, connect the 3rd one and will activate the shutter.
    So, I wouldn't worry about 3rd party or unknown brands (I have a $ 5 from ebay, had it for about 1 year for my A100).
