Newbie With A Sony Cyber-shot Dsc-h5

Anyone has this? I just got it and still learning how to use it...I kinda don't have the time or patience to view or study the entire book for this to learn things, I just want to know more details the easiest way.

BTW- I'am new here from San Diego CA. I've been browsing around and reading, I love the articles. Thanks!

Marissa - congratulations on your new camera and welcome to the site. Please write a review for your camera once you've gotten to know it. The H5 is a very capable camera and I hope it works well for you. It's got a lot of features so I understand if you are looking for some help. I haven't used that particular camera but I've used so many cameras that I can probably help. I've got two other image stabilized super zoom cameras for testing right now. Even if they aren't exactly the same, a lot of the features and principles are very similar.

I don't know how much you know about basic photography principles, but it would probably be good for you to read this exposure primer >>

Hi photojohn, thank you so much for prompt reply. Yes i will dif check out the links your giving me first and study them, I have yet to study other ones that my friend sent me. That would also be really interesting to attend a gathering, unfortunately i can't - I wish i could come up. Again thanks and i will check out the photography principles.
