I have a Minolta Maxxum 7D and no longer have the software to convert the MRW fioles to a file format I can use in PhotoShop and other programs. Is there a place to download this converter or a copy of Dimage Image Lite? Is it true that you do not need this converter if I get the recent version of PhotShop? Thanks.

I'm pretty sure any recent revision of Adobe Camera Raw (Lightroom, Photoshop, etc) will read them fine... You can download a trial version of Lightroom v3.3 to test it out.

There's a free converter from Adobe to convert them to DNG, which is a little more universal. It can be found: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloa...jsp?ftpID=4924

Otherwise, there are some basic free converters that should work if you look around..
