    Flash accessory

I have a Quantaray QTB-7500A flash with a MLi Module (AF) which I purchased to use with my 35mm Minolta Maxxum 400si camera. Now I have a Konica Minolta Maxxum 5D digital camera. Can anyone tell me if I can use this flash with my new digital camera?

    Re: Flash accessory

You probably can use it, but only if the flash has a manual mode. Otherwise it will flash at full power only. Oh, and before you try it be sure the trigger voltage for that flash is less than 12v.

If you want TTL or ADI flash metering you'll have to pick up a new flash. The Minolta 3600hs and 5600hs and Sony's 36 and 56 flashes are your best choices for this.
