Accidently Deleted Video File - Good FREE Recover Program?

So, this morning, while browsing through my files on my Sony Cybershot DSC-P150, I accidently deleted a video file. I would like to retrieve this file. Is there anyway that can be done? I've tried a few Recover software programs, but they all say I can't recover the files, becuase it's the trial version. Does anyone know a good FREE program to recover lost files?

    Thanks,
    Billy

I don't know of any free software that will work for this. I'd try a Google search for "file recovery." But if it's valuable enough to recover, and it might happen again, then maybe it's worthwhile to pay for the software. If you buy a pro lexar or SanDisk memory card, file recovery software is included. That's how I got mine. And I have used it a couple of times. One of those times made it worth the money and effort.

There's also a sticky thread about file recovery on the help Files forum. It's possible someone had listed a free program there: What if you lost your digital images?

I actually have a SanDisk memory card, should it have been included when I purchased the camera?

Is it one of their pro cards? I think they're called "Extreme." I think it only comes with the pro cards, and possibly only recently. I know Lexar has been doing it for a long time but I think SanDisk may have just started. The card I just got came with a mini CD. The Lexar cards come with the software on the card, if I remember correctly.

There are some freeware undelete tools such as NTFS Undelete, Recuva, PC Inspector, but as for me, such free programs have many disadvantages and restore files quite slowly. That's why I bought a special program called Advanced File Recovery, to avoid headaches. It recovers files quickly and efficiently.

Photo Rescue, http://www.datarescue.com/photorescue/, is only $99.00 USD. They offer a free trial.
