I'm finishing up my A7R first impressions article now and I've had a chance to take a close look at my photos. They really do look great. I don't have a camera to test in the studio and there's no Lightroom RAW support yet so I can't look at the RAW files. But I have no reason to doubt the DxO results. The bottom line - D800 or better image quality in a really small camera? Awesome!
