A700 plus the 16-105mm for $999. You should be able to get $400 for the lens= $600 for an A700. That's a lot of camera for $600. - TF

Great find OldClicker. Jaw dropping low price. Makes me wonder if Sony put the a700 back on their site in realization that they don’t have its replacement ready. It’s that or they have extra in stock and just need to get rid of them at a insane low price.

That is an awesome deal.... I'd love to grab another at that price to have a spare... But, I remain hopeful that something better will be available if/when I need to replace my a700... That and I don't have any extra $ to spend......

If you don't have one, and are considering at all, it's a no brainer... At least to me....
