    Unhappy A-100 Night Lightning Shots

    Hello to u all ,

Having bought my first SLR camera ever i joined this site in anticipation of the difficulties i was about to endure trying to come to grips with the many and varying camera settings, scene choices and conditions and the fact that my ability to master these challenges may be below par..

last night, a storm was brewing off the coast, the A-100 was set to shutter mode, 30sec delay, multi segment,no flash,Wide AF area,ISO400,AWB, D-Range OFF,Colour vivid.
No matter what i tried, the A-100 would not fire. Is there a setting i need to make the A-100 shoot in the dark that over-rides the Auto focus.
I was using the 75-300mm lens that was included in the kit.

    Hoping to see the light.

    AutoFocus Problem

Hi there,i have an F828 Sony camera and like mine and almost all digi-cams,they find a little bit trouble to focus in low light conditions, they need so much time to focus if they achieved it,so maybe its ur problem here, many luck anyway, keep us in touch of what ull do,byebye

The focus is a simple problem. Set to manual, close down to f/16 and focus to infinity.
