    Zeiss Ikon Lenses?

    Hi,

I see the site has a page for the Zeiss Ikon rangefinder, but what about the Zeiss Ikon ZM lenses? I'd love to put my 2 cents in about the ones I've used, but they aren't here!

    The lenses are:

Zeiss Super Wide Angle 15mm f/2.8 Distagon T* ZM (I've not used)
Zeiss Super Wide Angle 21mm f/2.8 Biogon T* ZM (Fantastic)
Zeiss Wide Angle 25mm f/2.8 Biogon T* ZM (Fantastic)
Zeiss Wide Angle 28mm f/2.8 Biogon T* ZM (Very Good)
Zeiss Wide Angle 35mm f/2.0 Biogon T* ZM (Excellent)
Zeiss Normal 50mm f/2.0 Planar T* ZM (Excellent)
Zeiss Telephoto 85mm f/2.0 Sonnar T* ZM (I've not used)

Please add pages for these products.

    Re: Zeiss Ikon Lenses?

Thanks for bringing the missing lenses to my attention. I'll get it taken care of right away. I absolutely want you to be able to post reviews for the lenses. Did you already post a review for the camera?

    Re: Zeiss Ikon Lenses?

    Hi Photo John,

I've been using them on Leica M7 and Hexar RF, which like the Zeiss Ikon, all have the same mount (Leica M Bayonet). That's the wonderful thing about the Zeiss ZM lenses, that they seem to be completely compatible with other M-mount bodies.

I probably won't get the Zeiss Ikon because it has no 75mm framelines. The Zeiss Ikon only has framelines for 85mm and lacks 90mm framelines too. I have a nice Leica 75mm/2 Summicron M (another new lens you should add) that I use a lot, so the cameras I have are sufficient.
