Where do I go to make one? If it's here, I'm hoping I could just go by boring ole "n8" rather then my current.

I have to do that for you. That's just for accountability reasons. We don't want people to make personal attacks or spam and then just change their username. But if you really want it changed, I can do that for you.

That's another reason we make it difficult to change your username. We don't want people changing their name all the time. But if someone really decides they need to change it and they aren't trying to hide their identity, I'm ok with it.
