Tip of the Day?

I know we have a Help forum, but how about having a "Tip of the Day" on the forum and/or website, where members can post helpful suggestions on anything photography related? I've seen it on other sites and it's quite informative. Just a thought! ;)

yeah, that kind of thing I was thinking about (thanks for posting, I'll definatly read through it! ) I noticed a lot of the tips were more about gereral photography: "have fun, shoot often..." I'm thinking of including tips like those but also tips like creative shots that people have tried or technical ideas. For example, i read a tip of the day somewhere that said, get a spray bottle and add water to your flower when you want to take a close-up picture of it, and it will change the look of the flower (as if it just rained outside). Another one, could be like, use a ziploc bag or shower cap to protect your camera when out in the rain.
Helpful tiny tricks that photographers have learned along the way and can share with beginners, like me. ;)

I agree...help files would be a good place...but...I would like to see it made a sticky!!! The little tips made in this thread really gave me pause for thought. I'll have to try them!!! hahaha...

It would be kinda cool to have a "click here for the tip of the day" or have something pop up (if you chose) everytime you logged into the forums here, like the default in Photoshop. Photoshop lets you opt out of it (click here to not display messages again, or something like that). I have no idea how involved this is...

A "Tip of the Day" is a great idea. Do it something like the "Review of the Day", by choosing it from those posted in a "Tips" thread. On slow days, one of the moderators or PJ or PR emp. could come up with one.

Yeah, that was a good tip-from someone on this forum... LOL

I like that idea to have a "Click here for the tip of the day" or have a window pop-up (and if people want, they can click on it to read the tip).
