post & reply order

Is there a way to see the original post of a thread first with the replies after it? I always see the latest reply first which is what I would only expect from clicking the > button on the right side of the thread listing.
I'm just so used to the thread starting on page 1 and the newest post being on the last page (like other forums) it seems weird to me. I'm hoping I can set this somewhere. Thanks!

I use the Hybrid viewing and see the original post first. Are you viewing them on the site or dumped to your email? - Terry

I'm wondering if as OC asks, are you opening from email?

On the menu bar right below where it says "Welcome, Mattb" select "My Account"
now on the left side scroll down to the "Settings and Options" section.
Under this section select "Edit Options"
Now Scroll down to "Thread Display Options"
In the "Thread Display Mode" select the drop down menu "Linear - oldest first"
Now scroll to the bottom and save.

You are set.

glad to be of help matt, I serve as webmaster on one of my Ducati Motorcycle forums and a moderator on a construction forum so first thing I always do is play around in the options area and get things set up my way.
