hostile ad takeover?

I'm getting words underlined in green, which if I click on will take me offsite to an ad. I only clicked on one. The green underlining comes and goes, won't appear on a thread I've already read. I've also started getting some sort of embedded ad that shows up on top of an image I'm trying to view. I started getting it in this thread: Need to pick out best pictures.... D:.

I don't know if it's something on this site or if it's something my computer picked up. I've got popup blocker on, and I'm using a mac. I haven't seen the problem on any other site.

Any ideas?

The green links are paid advertisers. And if the other ad you're talking about is the Olympus ad with the mountain biker, it's also a paid campaign. There's a "close" link, if you look for it, and the animation only lasts for a few seconds. It's a little intrusive. But it's on-topic and the money is important to us as a business.
