Gathering Page

One thing that I think could help on the site is an events page listing upcoming gatherings that people have planned. What I'm thinking is just a listing of the gathering date, location and pertinent info and maybe a contact person for more info on the particular get together. Right now it's kinda hard to pick out info from the various stickied and nonstickied threads if a person plans some travel and wants to see if any gatherings might fit into his/her plans.
If something like that already exists, please let me know where it is.

I agree. The problem has been how and who. I just haven't had time to manage a page like that. But I have a helper now and we should be able to put something together. And I agree it would be good for encouraging the success of gatherings and keeping a history of gatherings.

If you set something up, PJ, I'd be happy to take care of entering the info for the various gatherings.
Seems like the minimum info we'd want would be
City/Region
Date(s)
Contact Person(s)
Meeting Location/Time
Link to viewfinder thread discussing the upcoming gathering
