Red face Film Updates for the review section.

There are a few films missing that need to be added and discontinued films that need to be removed to older products

B&W Kodak Replaced the 2 C41 B&W films with one.

Add - , Bluefire Police film, Kodak BW400CN

Remove - Kodak Technical Pan, Kodak Portra 400BW, Kodak PROFESSIONAL T400 CN Film

Slide, Fuji want Crazy and discontined Velvia 50.

    Add - Velvia 100

    Remove - Velvia 50

Print Suprising amount of new films concidering.

Add - Fuji True Defintion, Kodak Elite (I think thats Ulrta Color in the states) Colour 200 & 400, Fuji 160c, Fuji 160s

Remove - Kodak Ultra Colour 100 , Fuji NPC 160, Fuji NPS 160

Fuji NPH 400 and NPZ 800 have had there names changed to Pro 400H
Pro 800Z but the emoultions remain unchanged unlike the two 160 speed film which have been changed.

There is more, I think but is mainly more obscure stuff.

Are you really asking that discontinued items be completely removed? Questions about old film (and old cameras, old lenses, old members, etc.) come up from time to time. Just a few weeks ago, a friend of mine found a brick of Kodak Supra that had been sitting in my storage unit and wanted to know something about it.

New stuff should be added but the old stuff should stay. Other opinions?

Yes, keep the old stuff! I'm thinking about adding a couple hundred feet of Velvia 50 to my freezer while I still can. I'm sure others out there will be doing the same thing.

    Updates Begun

    ajuk-
Thanks for letting me know about the new films. I've made some updates to the film reviews. I haven't had time for everything but I did some of the more obvious and important stuff. Most importantly, I added Fujifilm Velvia 100. I am not archiving Velvia 590 because there's still a large supply out there and a lot of people are still using it. I'm holding on to a bunch so I can make some bucks!

As for the concerns people posted about me deleting stuff - no need to worry. I never actually delete anything from the reviews. It just gets "archived." All archived products and reviews can be found by clicking on the "Only Older Products" link at the top of any review category page: http://www.photographyreview.com/cat...S_3118CRX.ASPX

Please ad the Fuji Pro films they are still missing, I also noticed Neopan 400CN isn't there which is strange because its not new.

I will see if we can't get caught up on the Fuji and the Oympus XA today. Thanks for being patient and reminding me. I've got some big projects in the works.
