Featured photos

I was curious about the selection process of photos as the featured photo? Moderator choice? Popular demand? Nomination by another member? I saw something about this subject a while back but can't seem to find it.

The moderators choose them. So mtbbrian chooses the Photo Critique Featured Photo, and almo chooses the gallery Featured Photo. The "Photo of the Day" on the Home page is chosen dynamically, based on views, date posted, etc.

I just usually select one that catches my eye.
It's pretty simple.
It can be a challenge sometimes, picking just one, but wth all of the great photographers and photographs I always find one.
