Does upload from URL work?

Trying to upload to the gallery, I tried the Extra Option, Retrieve all images from a URL:, and I can't get it to work. Does it work, and if so, it there some trick to it?

I use FreeBSD OS and Firefox 1.5.0.1.

Hmmmm - I don't think that bulk upload works. Best to assume it doesn't. If I remember correctly, there's a firewall issue with our IT department. I will check and have it removed if it isn't going to work.
